BLOOM, live concert
Because they are inspired by various influences (such as Twoo Door Cinema Club, Bombay Bicycle Club, Foals or even Phoenix), the four Bordeaux’s guys of Bloom created their very own musical identity. By using guitars, pop keyboards, catching riffs, rousing melodies, and heavy basses they allow us to enter their flowing and danceable universe for the greatest pleasure of the audience !
Very recent winners of the Regional Final of the R.U. Music just as the Mozaic Rock Challenge 2015, they will have the honor to be programmed for the 2016 edition of Garorock at the occasion of the 20 years of the festival !
That lightning ascent push them from now on to go steps further.
EXHIBITIONS LINE UP
Juliana Kičinova : Illustrator, painter (bright young thing)
When she was at the ECV, Juliana discovered the illustrators Charles Burns and Robert Crumb. Because she was fascinated by their work she decided to reproduce their drawing style. After that followed a love story between her and the Rotring. Her creativity is then expressed by a more spontaneous way, taking possession of giant and colorful paintings. And, without any concrete explanation Juliana starts doing a much more technical style. Still with her beloved Rotring, she becomes familiar with the very subtle technique of the dotwork. Now that she uses any other color than black, her work is the fruit of a pretty archaic and complex method.
Her big knowledge of both the digital era and the approach of the communication world makes Juliana an artist with a right and heterogeneous view. She is currently taking a master in Artistic Management, so that she can apprehend better all the faces of the profession.
François Liduena : Photographer
After having worked several years in design for several companies, François Liduena felt the need to get back to a much more personal artistic production, especially the photography by using the camera as a testing medium. Since the concept of the project or the used techniques don’t really matter, the process aim would be more about the expression of his feelings and the provocation of the spectator’s sensations thanks to an uncluttered and always graphic production.
Pierre Renollet : Painter
He was born somewhere in Normandie in 1971, a place where the sun sometimes get rid of the rain… With an ENSAAMA degree in design (Olivire de Serres), it is in Paris that he begins his professional career. Then, and because he wanted to, he moved from the Paris area to the Bordeaux one with his wife and children.
There, he discovered the teaching in an art school in Bordeaux (Créa Sud) and developed a real taste for it, he became the director of the school in 2007. This was an experience he really was enthusiast about but did not left him enough time to practice.
It is by the beginning of the 2015 school year that he decided to quit this professional adventure so that he could take back his destiny and finally focus on his passions, that is to say painting and drawing.
Charlotte SZ : Sculpter, painter
Charlotte SZ is a plastic artist from Bordeaux, graduated at the design school of Imma Concept, the Design Condé Créa Sud in Bordeaux, and the School of Fine Arts in Brussels.
She makes her paintings with ink and other mixed techniques with her very own style, from trash to sensuality through moving and contemporaneity. For her sculptures, she got her inspiration in the Japanese art which is a synonym of rigor, simpleness, geometry, origami and design. She offers us the possibility to get closer to wild animals and realize their scale, the ethereal and uncluttered style of her work gives back the animal its furtive nature.
Manufaktur : psychoplastic artist
Psychoplastic : the psychoplastic art is an ability to give tangible form to invisible things, and more specifically to ideas. This function is, most of the time, attributed to artists, who give tangible form to their thoughts and emotions under a perceptible form for all. It could be summarized by saying that it allows the invisible to become visible.
Manufaktur will introduce us to a series of works named the “GHOSTS” : ghost-like faces that seem to loom from the shadows.
